A consortium of renowned institutional investors has acquired Nestlé Skin Health, rebranding the entire unit Galderma and refocusing it as a pure play dermatology business.
Last year the skin care maker introduced its Differin brand of acne treatment gel to the OTC market, after receiving FDA approval to do so in early 2016. Now the brand is adding two new products to the Differin line.
The Nestlé Skin Health product line got its start in 1947, has expanded over the years to include cleansers, moisturizers, and sun care. And, now the global brand has plans to reach even more consumers around the world.
